Our oiled leather dog leash is thicker and heaver than
other leather dog leashes. This is the kind of leather
usually used for hiking and mountain boots as well as
horse tack. It is somewhat oily to the touch but doesn't
leave a greasy feel on your hands.
It is waterproofed due to the high oil content and is a wonderful leather
dog lead for folks training in inclement weather.
Both
the handle and brass snap are braided for extra security
